Destiny Gorman is a member of Athabasca Chipewyan First Nation (ACFN). She completed high school in Fort McMurray, Alberta at Father Mercredi High School, received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in psychology from MacEwan University.
After graduating she spent time working in the mental health field where she learned about mental health, the role of psychologists, and how to access support for mental health in Alberta. Destiny has recently returned to Canada after spending 7 months living and working in Australia and will be commencing her Master of Business Administration in January 2024.
